Lead: Zhejiang Zhuji, June 19-21, 2024 — The "National Standard 'Mechanical Parking Equipment Scrap Condition' (Draft) Discussion and Industry Standard 'Mechanical Parking Equipment Vertical Circulating Chain' (Review Draft) Expert Review Meeting," hosted by the Parking Equipment Sub-technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Cranes (hereinafter referred to as "Parking Equipment Subcommittee"), concluded successfully in Zhejiang Zhuji. The meeting invited 27 representatives from the Parking Equipment Subcommittee members, industry experts, standard drafting team members, and secretariat staff, representing 25 entities, to discuss and review two key standards aimed at enhancing the safety and service life of mechanical parking equipment.

With the acceleration of urbanization and the continuous growth of car ownership, the standardization of mechanical parking equipment, as a crucial means to address urban parking challenges, has become particularly vital. This meeting focused on the formulation and review of two critical standards, aiming to clarify the scrapping conditions of equipment to ensure that outdated equipment does not pose safety hazards, while also standardizing the design and quality of chains, the core component of vertical circulating parking equipment, thereby enhancing the overall technical level and service quality of the industry.

The meeting was chaired by Zhao Chunhui, the Secretary-General of the Parking Equipment Technical Committee. At the opening ceremony, Qian Jianxin, General Manager of Zhejiang Hengjiu Transmission Technology Co., Ltd., the hosting unit of the meeting, first delivered a welcome speech, followed by a speech from Zhao Chunhui, Secretary-General of the Parking Equipment Technical Committee.

During the meeting, an in-depth discussion was held on the first draft of the national standard for "Scrapping Conditions of Mechanical Parking Equipment," with constructive feedback provided. The participating experts, with a serious and responsible attitude, put forward many valuable opinions and suggestions for the first draft of the standard. With the concerted efforts of all experts in attendance, the meeting successfully accomplished its predetermined tasks.
