Lead: [Hangzhou, August 21, 2024] — The Parking Equipment Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Lifting Appliances (hereinafter referred to as the "Parking Equipment Subcommittee") convened a discussion meeting from August 19 to 21, 2024, in the picturesque city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, focusing on the preliminary drafts of three industry standards, including "Horizontal Moving Mechanical Parking Equipment."

The meeting was presided over by Zhao Chunhui, Secretary-General of the Parking Equipment Subcommittee. It drew the participation of 35 representatives from 32 entities, including members of the standard drafting team and the secretariat staff of the Parking Equipment Subcommittee. Zhejiang Noblelift Garage, recognized as an exemplary entity in the industry, was invited to this conference. Zhang Kai, the head of the R&D department at Noblelift Garage, attended the meeting as a delegate and, along with other experts, listened to comprehensive presentations from the drafting organizations—Shenzhen Yee Fung Automation Technology Ltd. and Hangzhou Xizi Intelligent Co., Ltd.—regarding the revision processes and principal updates to the standards for "Horizontal Moving Mechanical Parking Equipment," "Vertical Lifting Mechanical Parking Equipment," and "Aisle Stacking Mechanical Parking Equipment."

During the meeting, the participants, with a conscientious and responsible attitude, engaged in detailed and in-depth discussions on the drafts of the three standards, offering valuable suggestions and advice clause by clause. Through the collective efforts of all, the meeting successfully achieved its predetermined objectives.

Since their implementation, the three industry standards, including "Horizontal Moving Mechanical Parking Equipment," have played a significant role in enhancing the quality and safety of parking equipment, regulating industry development, reducing safety accidents, and better serving the public's need for safe parking. The revision will further incorporate the latest technological advancements in the industry, elevate the technical level of the standards, and provide solid support for the safe, green, intelligent, and high-quality development of the parking equipment industry.

The successful holding of this discussion meeting not only marks a significant step forward for the standardization efforts in the parking equipment industry but also lays a more solid foundation for the future development of the industry.
